Four traits set a diamond price and look.
GIA, IGI and HRD reports are widely recognised; check the girdle inscription against the lab database before paying. G–H colour, eye-clean VS2–SI1 clarity and a weight just under a round number save a lot without a visible difference — but never compromise on cut.
Only with instruments and a gemologist — thermal conductivity, optics and inclusions distinguish natural, lab-grown and imitations. We verify every stone.
Both are recognised internationally; GIA is considered the strictest on colour and clarity. Always check the report number against the lab database.
